Today, June 19th, 2024 my Mom and Dad would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Their relationship of 60+ years is an example to all of us of the true meaning of a soulmate - sharing love and life as best friends.
Some of the lyrics from the song I chose for the slideshow below are as follows: "Say you'll share with me one love, one lifetime - Say the word and I will follow you. Share each day with me each night, each morning - Say you love me - You know I do. Love me - that's all I ask of you." (All I ask of you - Phantom of the Opera)
Those words, to me, are a perfect description of their life together. No wonder Mom liked Phantom so much. We miss you so much Mom, and we will take care of Dad and try to live up to your example in our own relationships.
